Pangborn 6LK and Dust Collector Rebuild

Sometimes used/refurbished is what a customer’s budget requires. We worked for weeks to find the right size machine for the customer’s application, then spent more time locating and negotiating on a machine that would fit the need. It can be tough when buying a machine, sight unseen, but we work with companies all over North America to try and find decent used equipment.

Like most of the used machines we bring in, this one fell short of the standards we place on ourselves for quality used equipment. This equipment was not a full rebuild, like many of the machines we sell, but more of a fix and repair as necessary to ensure a good functioning machine. The machine came out of Canada, so we replaced all electric motors and reworked the electric for American voltage.

We addressed a few leaks, fixed some door and seal issues, reworked the dust collector, and gave the machine a good paint job. This machine is now in much nicer shape than when we received it in, and is ready to process a wide range of fabricated parts.
