Dura-Blast’s first Dual Cabinet Skew Roll Blast Machine

Our customer wanted a machine that had independently operational blast chambers so they could continuously run, even if they have to take one cabinet down for service. Due to their volume and need for uptime, our oil & gas customer wanted a machine with two blast cabinets, inline on a single powered skew roll conveyor.

The blast cabinets can function independently, or together for faster throughput. This machine put a few new challenges in front of us, but we worked closely with the customer to provide the controls and features that precisely fit their needs and application. We also built the machine to withstand the demands of aggressive steel grit blasting, as this abrasive and process is very hard on abrasive blast equipment.

Our customer has been very pleased with the final product, and due to some innovation with the electrical connections, we were able to have it installed and running product in less than a week. Very fast install for a machine with this many moving parts.
